Are your products free of genetically modified organisms (GMO)?

Our commitment to the quality of our supplements includes a commitment not to use GMO ingredients. We actively work with our nutrient suppliers to source only non-GMO ingredients whenever available. However, we have not labelled our products as non-GMO since it can be challenging to ensure that every ingredient is fully traceable and was non-GMO certified at every stage (for example, wild-caught fish or the feed for livestock).

My product has a strong smell to it – what is wrong with it, has it gone bad?

You may be experiencing a strong odour when opening the product because we are no longer using a desiccant in many of our softgel and liquid-filled capsule products.

  • A desiccant is a small pouch placed inside the bottle that is designed to absorb moisture. Desiccants typically work well for tablets or capsules with dry powder ingredients in them. However, when it comes to softgel and liquid-filled capsules, the desiccant draws too much moisture causing them to dry out and become brittle. When brittle, a softgel or liquid-filled capsule can more easily crack and/or break resulting in damaged product and an unpleasant customer experience. For this reason, along with a desire to remove any unnecessary waste, we have removed desiccants from our softgel and liquid capsule products. 
  • A desiccant also functions as an odour barrier. With the removal of the desiccant, you may notice a stronger odour with our softgel or liquid-filled capsules. However, like the spices in your kitchen cupboard, herbal ingredients come with their own unique and natural odour that are not a cause for concern. You can rest assured that all our products are tested at licensed third-party labs to ensure quality, safety, and efficacy. 

Are your products kosher or halal?

Our products are not Kosher or Halal Certified. However, the gelatin from our softgel capsules are Halal Certified and are bovine-sourced with the exception of Glucosamine Chondroitin.

Do you have any vegan or vegetarian-friendly products?

Yes, several of our products are vegan and vegetarian-friendly. They are as follows:

When is the best time to take Platinum Naturals products?

Depending on which supplement you select and your daily routine, you may choose to take your Platinum Naturals products at various times throughout the day. Are your products gluten-free?

Our products are manufactured without gluten. However, they are not tested for trace elements of gluten.

Do your products have a natural product number (NPN)?

Yes, all of our products have NPNs, which are displayed on our labels.

I found a leaking capsule in my bottle, is it still safe to consume?

We are sorry to hear about the leaking capsule found in your bottle. Most of Platinum Naturals products are made using our proprietary Omega Absorb delivery system. This process suspends the active ingredients in healthy omega oils for improved absorption and stability. Due to the use of the oils, our softgel capsules may occasionally crack when the temperature is below 15˚C or when shaken (e.g. during shipping, by being dropped or being handled vigorously). We stand 100% behind our products we manufacture at Platinum Naturals. Should you have any issues with the softgel capsules please contact the retailer you purchased the product from for a replacement or a refund.

How do you ship

Most orders will ship with Canada Post from our head office located just north of Toronto, ON.

How much does shipping cost?

Any orders above $100 (CAD) after discounts and before taxes will qualify for free shipping. Orders under $100 (CAD) will be subject to a $10 (CAD) flat shipping fee.

How long will it take for my order to be processed?

Depending on the volume of orders, processing can take between 1 to 2 business days.

What happens after I submit my order?

When you submit your order you will receive an Order Confirmation email. Once your order has been processed and picked up by the Courier you will receive a Shipment Notification email, which will include a tracking number.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with a tracking number allowing you to follow your package’s journey.

Is a signature needed for delivery?

Due to the delicate nature of softgel products, we use the "Do Not Safe Drop" shipping option to ensure products are not left outside in extreme weather conditions. This option allows for a delivery attempt at the door, and, if no one is available to receive the parcel and the parcel does not fit in the mail box, then the parcel will be made available for pickup at the designated post office or your community mailbox.For orders over $500 (CAD) we will automatically apply a signature required option to ensure safe delivery of your order.

How can I cancel my order?

If your order has not yet been shipped, you may still be able to cancel it. Simply reach out to us by email at orders@platinumnaturals.com and specify your order number in the message. 

When can I expect my order?

Expected delivery dates are based on Canada Post delivery standards for your area and are not guaranteed.

Do you accept returns?

If you are not satisfied with your order, please email our Customer Care team at orders@platinumnaturals.com within 30 days of placing your order (i.e., the date you place your order).

Please hold on to the product until the review is complete. Platinum Naturals reserves the right to ask for the product to be returned if warranted.
